After graduating from Yale University in 1981 with a degree in economics, Tim joined Collins Commodities on the trading floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange.  In 1991, Tim and a partner formed Vantage Trading, Inc., a subchapter S-corporation which provided commodity futures order execution services to the energy trading community. In addition to implementing trading strategies for numerous clients, Tim engaged in proprietary trading in the crude oil pit.  Tim was a frequent guest commentator on various business programs including CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg Business TV, providing timely analysis of the energy industry.  Tim’s core philosophy at Vantage Trading, just as it is at Dynasty Advisors, focuses on the highest quality client service and ultimate client satisfaction.

At Dynasty, Tim primarily emphasizes comprehensive financial planning for families at any stage of their financial lives.  He believes in the rigorous financial planning process as espoused by the College for Financial Planning.   Tim’s clients not only benefit from his extensive financial knowledge but also from the tremendous experience of the entire Dynasty team.  In a world of increasing economic complexity, individuals and families need help developing an effective financial plan that encompasses insurance needs and investment strategies, as well as retirement and estate planning.  Providing that experience-based professional assistance is the goal of both Tim and Dynasty Advisors, LLC.
